The client
Vukovarski Golubići is a children’s choir with a long tradition and real cultural significance for the city of Vukovar. It promotes musical culture among the youngest and helps preserve Vukovar’s musical heritage.
The problem
Their website dated from 2013 and wasn’t usable on phones. The last news posts were from 2015, so the site made the choir look inactive. That’s a serious problem when parents are deciding whether to enrol their children. There was also no consistent visual identity.
What I did
- Designed a new visual identity in Figma, based on the choir’s colours and musical motifs.
- Built the site from scratch on WordPress, structured so that every news post and gallery the choir publishes looks consistent.
- Ran a training session with the staff: publishing news, adding images and editing pages.
- After launch, checked their first posts made without my help to make sure everything worked.
